Talk to the Author -- Bill McKibben

Bill McKibben, is a well known environmental author and activist and the founder of the international climate change campaign 350.org -- named for the maximum level of carbon dioxide, 350 parts per million, that the climate can safely sustain. In October, Bill and 350.org coordinated the International Day of Climate Action, which has been called the largest day of political action on any issue in history.

Bill's been leading the fight against global warming for 20 years, since he wrote the first book for a general audience on the subject, The End of Nature in 1989. But Bill knew that taking on the climate crisis was going to take more than a few good books, it was going to take a movement - so he's been in the middle of building it ever since.
